Seldom seen Kriegsmarine field green overseas cap for an officer of the coastal artillery (Küstenartillerie). This is a standard enlisted cap with a ‘upgraded’ golden officers tresse around the middle seam of the cap. Period applied insignia and soutache up front. Maker marked inside by Opolka & Müller, Hamburg, dated 1940. Size marked 56. Show some moth damages in the top end. A very nice been-there cap!
