Kriegsmarine coastal artillery ‘sabotage’ overseas cap made in occupied France by Sogeco Nantes

Here is a genuine untouched foreign made KM ‘Küstenartillerie’ overseas cap or Schiffchen. A textbook example by by the French firm S.O.G.E.C.O. in Nantes. These caps were part of a large sabotage operation by the French labourers in this factory, all producing the caps too small, hence they had to be enlarged (see size adjustment of the cap). The cap is complete with its period, French made embroidered nazi insignia on the front, the cocarde is surrounded by a golden ‘coastal artillery’ tresse. Size marked 54 and afterwards newly marked 57. A very nice untouched cap in perfect condition!
