Luftwaffe 1st pattern field cap ‘Bergmütze’ with RBNr. 1943

Mid war made first pattern Luftwaffe field cap, often referred to as a Luftwaffe mountain cap, M41 cap or Bergmütze because its similar look to the army ones. Light worn cap, complete with its period applied national insignia up front. Grey/Blue cotton interior shows medium use and sweat staining. Maker marked with RBNr. 0/025?/0900, dated 1943 and size marked 57. A very rare and desirable hat!
