Luftwaffe ‘Afrikakorps’ tropical pith helmet in green by Ke & Co. 1943

Description

Good looking and hard to find Luftwaffe tropical pith helmet. Complete with both decal-shields and chin strap. The strap is broken at the tip, but is just long enough to display properly. The hat is executed in green colored canvas, much harder to find than the tan colored examples. The top is a bit crushed, but still looks very nice. Maker marked by Ke. & Co. (I deem), dated 1943. Size marked 55. A very nice and well preserved LW pith helmet – so hard to encounter these days!
