Luftwaffe EM/NCO visor cap for Pilot or Fallschirmjäger by Hermann Potthoff ‘Frischluft’

Very nice high quality made visor cap with yellow piping for a Luftwaffe Pilot. Complete with its original early aluminum insignia up front. The exterior is beautiful and executed in blue gabarine wool. The cap retains its original saddle shape. Interior shows no actual wear. The sweat diamond shows the maker mark of HPC (Hermann Potthoff, Coesfeld). This manufacturer patented the Frischluft system, a sytem where 6 ventialtion holes are present behind the cocarde, making sure your head had fresh air or in German ‘Frische Luft’ (Frishluft). Erel had a similar system with one vent hole. One of the best LW visors I have ever had!
