Luftwaffe K98 bayonet frog in brown leather with LBA mark

Description

Early ‘choclate’ brown Luftwaffe K98 frog in light worn condition. Maker marked on the reverse, unit marked and accepted in the Luftwaffe with the LBA marking. Leather is still supple. Aluminum rivets, indicating it was produced before 1940. The date is not clearly visible anymore due wear, but I would say this frog dates back to 1938.
