Luftwaffe paratrooper jump smock ‘Fallschirmjäger knochensack’ in Sumpftarn 1944

Description

Luftwaffe sumpftarn Fallschirmjäger jump smock (knochensack). Late war construction in light weight canvas with camouflage print. The internal pocket panels are executed in tan colored ribbed cotton, with tan colored drawstring tapes. The pistol holster reinforcements are made out of silk blue cloth. Complete with its originally sewn tan glass front closure buttons (some are loose). All PYRM 6 marked snaps are present and operational, some show a bit of oxidation. All four plastic zippers are functional and marked by RiRi. The breast eagle is original applied on the chest, using zig-zag stichting, the same thread was used for the assembly of this jacket. Maker marked with RBNr. 0/1337/0015 and is dated IX 1944 (April 1944). Size marked Ia (1). Hard to find an untouched, light worn smock with original breast eagle! Sold an identical but little bit more worn smock here, with same markings and grey breast eagle.
