M17 army (Heer) double decal steel helmet

Description

Very nice transitional M17 (Austrian-built) WW1 steel helmet that was reissued in WW2. Early pre-war reissued helmet ca. 1934 with the WW1 liner and chin strap still in place. The leather itself is complete and in good condition for its age. The draw string is missing but the rare chin strap is present. The split pins remain straight. A very desirable M17 double decal helmet!
