M31 Wehrmacht gas mask with canister 1938 with rubber band

Description

Interesting light worn canister (dated 1938, maker marked by HS), complete with spare glasses and rubber mask with filter both marked and dated as well. The nice thing is the rubber band on the edge of the canister (being partially intact and totally stiffened up), was used to avoid extra noice from other equipment bumping into the metal.
