M34 army (Heer) general overseas cap ‘Schiffchen’

Description

Original M34 enlisted cap for army personnel. Standard issue hat, dated 1937 and maker marked by ‘Ago’ in Nordmark. The genuine grommets are still present. The cap was in my opinion post-war upgraded to a General example by adding (genuine) golden tresse on the top of the cap, and adding a golden soutache. The leather sweatband was also added making it look like an officer cap, but like I mentioned it is a enlisted example. The bullion cap cocarde is an original example, as well is the ultra rare gold BeVo flatwire cap eagle (that was denazified). So basicly a genuine cap, that was professionaly upgraded to general. A nice example if you don’t want to spend 5000 euro or more for a General cap.
