M34 army (Heer) officers overseas cap for Panzergrenadier by Gebr. Alm 1941

Beautiful and light worn 1941 constructed M1934 overseas cap. Complete with all of its insignia and a seldom seen lime green soutache for Panzergrenadier. As you can see the stitching of the cap goes over the soutache, which is a very good sign to see if the soutache is original applied. Typical panzer unit depot marking inside; B.II.40 (1940) – something I like to see in Panzer and Panzergrenadier items! Genuine and period hand applied insignia. The cap was period upgraded from an enlisted example to officer by applying silver tresse around the cap – a common practice during the war. Maker marked by Gebr. Alm, Berlin, dated 1941.
