M34 Czech reissued Luftschutz helmet with odd placed decal

Description

This is a Czech M34 Helmet which has been re-issued to the Luftschutz. Normally these helmets show a Luftschutz decal which is placed on front, in this case the decal was placed on the left side – a first time for me that I see this rare variation. The decal is present for about 95%. The exterior has been coated in typical Luftschutz Grey/Blue color. The interior has the 5 liner pads present, these show only minor wear and are connected with a leather tie string, still filled with horsehair! The helmet is nicely maker marked by the company of Scholtz and is dated 1936. The chinstrap is present. Rare and hard to find helmet in very good condition!
