M35 army (Heer) double decal steel helmet ET64

Description

M1935 pattern German army steel helmet. Ligt worn example in pea green color, complete with both decal shields intact. Both show ligt wear and matching patina and remain present for over 90%. Helmet is complete with its original 1940 dated reinforced aluminum liner and split pins. Looking at the database, many helmets in these lots were fitted 1940 liners, so must have been the last batch of double decals made. The split pins look a bit crooked so the liner might have been taken out by playing children at one time. The leather itself is a bit dry as you can see on the pictures. Original full length 1938 dated chin strap is present, maker marked by R. Larsen, Berlin. The draw string is a replacement. A dome stamp is visible inside. Maker marked by ET size 64, lot number 4671.
