M35 army (Heer) reissued single decal steel helmet ET66

Description

Beautiful M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1941. This helmet, was factory reissued in the beginning of the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The tricolor shield, is still visible under the thick layer of paint. It shows sharp details and is nearly 90% intact. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner. The leather itself is supple and strong and shows normal traces of use. The draw string and chin-strap are post-war replacements. Maker marked shell by ET, size 66, lot number 4657.
