Beautiful textbook M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1943. This helmet, was factory reissued in the middle of the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The decal is a textbook example that I like to see on reissued helmets, being produced by Methner and Burger (Grey lined eagle) – we sold quite a few of these configurations on the website, click here. The decal shows sharp details and is nearly 100% intact. The helmet is complete with its liner and you can cleary see the split pins are untouched and straight. The leather itself is in good condition but feels a bit stiff, as it is executed in pig-skin leather. The helmet is complete with its full lenght draw string and chin strap (maker marked with RBNr 0/0750/0100). Maker marked shell by Quist, size 64, lot number is not visible due the thick reissued paint. A beautiful UNTOUCHED M35 army steel helmet!
