Description

Stunning light worn M40 army steel helmet in good condition. Early smooth green coating on the exterior shows little wear. The decal is an ET-style bird and is often found on Quist shells besides the normal ‘Big-Foot’ example. The liner is complete but feels a bit dry. It is an early reinforced aluminum example, dated 1940. Complete withdraw string. Split pins remain tight and untouched. Stunning M40 helmet! Marked on the side Q64, lot number 951.
