M35 Luftwaffe double decal steel helmet EF68 1940

Description

Honest untouched and recently found M35 Luftwaffe steel helmet. This was the last batch of double decal produced helmets in 1940. Both decals remain present and show nice ageing and cracks. The helmet is complete with its original 1940 dated liner, already having a steel band instead of an aluminum. The liner is size marked 61. The split pins remain unmessed with. The leather is supple and strong, just the darker spot in the front is a bit dryer and shows a few cracks. A part of the chin strap remains present. Maker marked shell by EF, big size 68.
