Untouched and complete Luftwaffe M35 helmet from 1938. Classic glossy blue coated M35 helmet with both decals nearly 100% intact showing great details. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner, draw string and chin strap. The aluminum liner band is dated 1938, the split pins as well and also the chin strap is dated the same. The chin strap is a textbook Luftwaffe chocolate brown example that shows a faded unit mark. It is maker marked by Sachs & Deisselberg, Hamburg, 1938. The strap clearly never ever left the helmet. The dome of the helmet shows the (German) name tag of K. Jansen and his initials K.J. are also visible in the rim of the shell. The helmet shell is marked by NS size 64, lot number 3956. Interesting of course is the bring-back tag, as a US soldier picked this helmet up as a souvenir and send it home to Mrs. Rose De Falco, 447 Totowa Road, Boro of Totowa, Paterson (z) New York. It was shipped in Germany by DFC D.S. De Falco, #32777221 Ser. Co.  … and accepted by the US Customs in New York. A very interesting helmet in untouched condition with a killer set of decals present!
