M35 Luftwaffe single decal reissue camouflage helmet ET64

Description

Heavy worn M35 Luftwaffe helmet. Started its life as a double decal LW helmet with straight leg ‘droop-tail’ eagle. It was afterwards reissued with dark blue layer of paint and a new 2nd pattern LW decal. After that is was camouflaged in what I believe are three-tone Normandy colors (tan/brown/green). The helmet saw lots of wear and both camo and blue reissue paint were worn of. The 2nd pattern LW decal is only visible for 30% and the first pattern decal was liberated from under the paint, present for nearly 80%. The tri color shield on the other side is removed per regulations. The helmet is complete with its early reinforced liner and full lenght chin strap (with steel buckle). Named in the rear to Ballmann. Maker and size marked: ET64, lot number 4092. A been there camo helmet!
