M35 Luftwaffe two tone sand mix camouflage helmet EF66

Description

Beautiful and worn one-looker M35 Luftwaffe helmet that started as a double decal helmet. Was overpainted in sand mixed tan color and had green stripes added with spray paint. A bit like a FJR6 pattern. The Luftwaffe decal is still ghosting under the paint, the tricolor shield was probably removed prior to adding the camouflage due to the 1940 regulations. The helmet is complete with its early single band aluminum liner, dated 1936. The draw string and (repaired) Luftwaffe marked chin strap are both present. Shell marked EF66, lot number 3061. A beautiful been there camouflage helmet, with the perfect X-factor.
