M36 army (Heer) Feldbluse for Unteroffizier with Krim Shield

Description

Very nice and well preserved M36 pattern army Feldbluse in good condition. Typical period factory re-tailored jacket, as this was first a 114 chest size tunic and was converted to a 96 chest. The tunic received a better fit and was clearly used for walking-out purposes. The tunic also got 6 buttons instead of 5. All of the insignia are present. The collar tabs were moved backwards to add the NCO tresse. The standard breast eagle was replaced with a better looking flat wire example, an period upgrade often observed with these jacket. The shoulder boards are sewn in the tunic and the shoulders have been filled with stuffing for a smarter look. The lining of the tunic is executed in tan colored cotton and shows a couple of size and manufacturer marks. The tunic is dated 1940. Comes with a genuine Krim campaign shield sewn on the left sleeve.
