M38 double decal ‘Fallschirmjäger’ winter camouflage steel helmet ET68 named

Incredible and extremely rare M38 Luftwaffe paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) steel helmet, complete with straps. Original double decal example that was camouflaged in white wash winter camouflage, covering both decals. The helmet was worn actively and the white wash was partially worn off, exposing the underlying decals once again. The Luftwaffe eagle and tricolor shield already looked pretty damaged before it was camouflaged, but the swastika still remains firmly present under the paint (see close up’s). The helmet was once found with a heavy damaged liner, a previous collector inserted a better looking early liner with bolts. The straps are original to the helmet. All original parts but reassembled. The straps are complete but from lots of wear and possible moist they have shrunk a little bit. The liner is maker and size marked on the leather, but both stampings are faded due wear. The shell is marked ET68 on the side and has the lot number 3847 which matches the database with similar double decal examples. It is also named in the rear, but I can’t tell what it says exactly.
