M38 Fallschirmjäger two tone camouflage helmet ET68

Description

Beautiful and untouched M38 pattern-camouflage helmet. Had its exterior overpainted with thick tan and green camouflage colors. There used to be a bailing wire over the helmet that is gone now, still leaving clear markings in the paint. The exterior shows normal wear and based on the lot number there should be a Luftwaffe decal hidden under the camouflage paint. The bolts remain tight and untouched, they are well sunk into the helmet and covered in camouflage paint. The liner shows normal to heavy wear and has darkened with time, hence the leather stampings are gone. The helmet still has its original full-length straps, complete with buckle and PRYM marked snap buttons. The paddings remain present and still feel soft. The shell is marked ET68 on the side and 2255 in the rear. A stunning camouflage helmet with beautiful, structured paint!
