M38 Fallschirmjäger two tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage helmet FJR6 ET70

M38 pattern single decal paratrooper helmet. Had its Luftwaffe decal oversprayed with tan and green camouflage colors, the so called ‘Normandy’ and/or Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 6 ‘FJR6’ pattern. The exterior shows heavy wear and the Luftwaffe decal is still clearly visible under the camouflage paint. Most of the camouflage paint and green ground layer are gone, due extensive cleaning. The liner shows similar heavy wear just as the outside. Its remains partially present, the paddings remain complete. Chin straps are 80% present. The inside of the helmet has been painted black at one point. The size and factory markings remain hidden under the black paint; altough it it certain this is a ET70 shell. An original FJR6 camouflage paratrooper helmet for a cheap price!
