M38 Luftwaffe single decal paratrooper ‘Fallschirmjäger’ helmet ET68 ‘ex-netting’

Beautiful and worn M38 pattern paratrooper steel helmet, in good condition. Original green coating is present, shows normal wear. The decal is still partially present and shows similar ageing with the rest of the helmet. The liner shows equal wear and a few tears. The helmet was found in USA by a collector some time ago, it was missing two bolts, who have been replaced. The original buckle-piece chin strap is original attached to the helmet with the original bolts that were areadey there. The rubber paddings are compele. The liner is maker and size marked but both stamps are very hard to read because of the wear. The shell is marked on the side by ET68 and has the lot number 842. Still genuine parts of camouflage netting remain visible in the rim of the linerband. Stunning and hard to find helmet.
