Stunning and untouched – ‘been there’ – M40 pattern steel helmet. Started as a single decal army helmet that got spray painted in tan, red and green colors, making it a textbook so called ‘Normandy’ camo. The ghost of the army decal is still visible under the paint. The helmet shows average combat wear and looks great. Liner is complete and the leather is still strong, but feels stiff and dry. The genuine draw string and chin strap are also present. Split pins remain untouched. Maker marked by Q64, lot number IN143. Stunning Normandy camouflage helmet!
