M40 Luftwaffe single decal steel helmet EF64

Description

Well preserved M40 pattern Luftwaffe steel helmet. The Luftwaffe decal on the left is still 80% intact and shows normal wear The exterior paint shows almost combat wear and remains of tan-colored camo paint that were once removed are visible (or was it some sort of winter white wash – I don’t know). The liner shows light wear and the leather is stiff but strong. It comes with a full length draw string. One tongue is broken. The split pins remain straight and unmessed with. Maker marked on the side by EF, size 64. Lot number in the rear: 22780. EF is also a rare maker for LW helmets.
