M40 Luftwaffe single decal steel helmet ET64

Description

Perfect light worn M40 Luftwaffe helmet in very good condition. Sharp Luftwaffe decal on the left side rating over 90%. The helmet shows light wear and is coated in blue field paint. Complete with beautiful and soft liner. The draw string is a period replacement using a shoe string. The split pins remain straight and untouched. The liner band is dated 1940. The helmet came directly from picker in USA and when we got it one linerband spring was out of place, we simply slid it back in place (see before and after picture). The full lenght chin strap is present and is nicely maker marked and dated by Ybiral, Weimisslitz 1942. Maker marked shell by E.T. size 64, lot number 1422.
