M40 Luftwaffe two tone sand mixed camouflage helmet ET64

Description

Beautiful light worn Luftwaffe early produced M40 helmet, started as a single decal example in glossy blue paint. Was camouflaged during the war in light and dark green colors, using a mixture of paint and sand. Complete with original installed liner, dated 1940. Leather remains supple and strong. Draw string and chin strap remain present. Maker marked by ET64 lot number 105. A very desirable ‘been there’ camouflage helmet!
