Genuine M40 steel helmet by Quist. Original SS example with the decal nearly completely removed on the right side. Helmet remains complete with liner and original draw string. Steel liner band is dated 1940. The leather remains supple and strong. Maker marked shell by Q, size 66 (Q66) and lotnumber DN3??.
