M41 army (Heer) ‘Afrikakrops’ tropical field cap by H.u.W. Doenhack 1942

Description

Textbook unissued and MINT Afrikakorps M41 pattern field cap exectuted in tan/green colored canvas. The cap shows no actual wear and is complete with its period hand applied insignia up front. All four ventilation grommets remain in place. Interior is complete with sweat band, having a typical oil-cloth rim. Maker marked by (uncommon and rarely encountered) H.u.W. Doenhack, Karlsruhe, Amalienstr. 8, dated 1942 size marked 54 (small). A very attractive textbook field cap!
