M42 Army/Waffen-SS late war no decal steel helmet ckl66 with off center vent holes

Description

Light worn M42 pattern steel helmet. Classic no decal example, either for army (Heer) or Waffen-SS. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner. The leather is in good condition and remains supple and strong. It is complete with its full length draw string. Classic helmet shell design by ckl/ET size 66, showing a late war ‘sloppy’ production error having the ventilation holes off center. Lot number is below remains hard to read.
