Description

Very nice and light worn M43 pattern army field jacket. The tunic is complete with its original ‘zig-zag’ applied breast eagle, not sewn through the lining as it should be. The tunic was field promoted to NCO ranks and the factory applied collar tabs were removed and upgraded with a better looks set, that is hand applied above the silver NCO tresse. The tunic comes with a killer pair of M40 pattern white piped infantry shoulder boards from Infantry Regiment 12, and bear the rank of Oberfeldwebel. The jacket was retailored for a better fit and the bottom pockets were moved upwards for 2cm, a regular procedure during the war and often oberserved with these type of field jackets. The silk liner is complete and shows small signs of wear. It is nicely maker marked with a RBNr. 0/0158/0121 and dated 1943 (E43). Stunning UNTOUCHED, all original model 1943 tunic!
