M43 Luftwaffe field cap ‘Einheitsfeldmütze’ with RBNr. 1944

Description

Genuine and well preserved blue Luftwaffe M43 cap. Has a set of original national insignia period applied to the front of the cap. Interesting combination of a hand sewn eagle, only attached on a few points and a machine applied cocarde running over de eagle’s swastika. It is something I have observed earlier with this manufacturer of Luftwaffe caps. Maker marked with RBNr. 0/0501/0015, size marked 56 and dated 1944.
