From my personal collection; I obtained this bayonet during the Covid pandemic when I used to put small business cards in the letterboxes in my town (Zulte). This bayonet was delivered at my doorstep and came straight of the attic, most likely left behind in 1944 with the retreat of Normandy. The bayonet is untouched and uncleaned and came with a British webbing frog (I’m not inventing this!). Both scabbard and blade show matching serial numbers and are maker marked by Mundlos, dated 1937. A very nice piece, with a perfect blade!
