MINT M41 army (Heer) Feldbluse with factory tag ‘Lago Wien’ 1941

Description

From my personal collection – Ultra rare large sized M41 pattern Feldbluse in excellent condition. The M41 pattern bluse distinguishes itself from the M40 by having 6 front buttons instead of 5. This model is mostly encountered when it has been altered with a dark green collar. However this particular jacket is not altered in any way and is a TEXTBOOK piece, just like it left the factory. The reason why it stayed in this condition is the size in my opinion, it’s a XL jacket, and it’s my belief that not many soldiers were as big then, especially during the middle of the war in 1941. The feldbluse is complete with its period applied breast eagle and collar tabs. A nice set of mint M40 infantry shoulder boards was added by me. The jacket has one minor moth hole on the side of the collar, otherwise it is perfect and has no issues at all. The nice thing is of course the tailor label, that is still attached on the first aid pouch saying; Lieferungsunternehmen der Kleidermacher Aktiengesellschaft Wien VI/56, Schmalzhofgasse 28. The pouch self is makerd by Lago Wien and below the size markings it is dated WB41 (1941). Note the chest size 104, perfect for todays mannequins! A truely stunning jacket that was part of my collection for a very long time.
