Description
Willys MB/Ford GPW Jeep – Original WW2 restoration project or donor Jeep for parts.
Willys MB Frame/Chassis with Belgian title (from 1945). Frame still has the original front gussets with replacement front bumper. Complete front and rear axle, with springs and steering gear. Original grille, fenders and windshield. Original Ford manufactured GPW body which is much rarer than ACM1 or ACM2 bodies. Body needs attention, notably front floor, but is a good candidate for restoration and would be the eyecatcher of any restored GPW. Still has both GPW style tool box lids in very good condition. These Ford made bodies without the Ford logo on the rear panel were fitted to GPW frames from September 1942 through September 1943 at which time Ford started using ACM made bodies. No engine, transmission or transfer case. Various original parts and accessories still present (see photos) What you see is what you get!
