RARE army (Heer) ‘Afrikakorps’ sun-bleached reconnaissance shoulder boards for Oberfeldwebel

Description

Very attractive and seldom seen pair of tropical shoulder boards having gold piping for a member of a Cavalry and/or (armoured) Reconnaissance (Aufklärung) unit. The boards are worn and have a attractive sun-bleached tan color. Complete with slip-on tongues on the reverse. Backing made of tropical brown wool. A textbook example, very hard to encounter today!
