Description

A very rare and seldom encountered M42 RAD helmet. These helmets always were reissued out of army helmets, sometimes the decal was placed on top of the army decal, in this case the army decal was removed prior on applying the RAD shield. The shield shows normal wear and scratches but remains present for 70%. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner, the split pins remain straight and dusty. The chin strap is present, but was repaired at one point, the leather is dry and fragile… but it is better than no chin strap at all. The shell is maker marked by ET and size marked 64. Lot number in the rear 878. A very rare RAD helmet!
