RARE traffic police ‘Verkehrspolizei’ crash helmet ‘Sturzhelm’ by Erel 1938

Description

Very rare and seldom seen white police crash helmet for a member of the German Verkehrspolizei. The helmet is in excellent, and light worn condition and remains complete with liner, strap and ear protection. This lid is maker marked by the famous headgear factory of Erel and show similar construction to a Police Tschako and/or Panzer berret. On the front of the helmet an aluminum gold colored police eagle is pierced through the helmet and show matching patina with the helmet. A very desirable helmet in perfect, nearly unworn, condition!
