RARE Wehrmacht camouflage sniper smock ‘Tarnhemd’ in Splittertarn with RBNr.

Description

Extremely rare Wehrmacht ‘Splittertarn’ camouflage sniper smock (Tarnhemd für Scharfschützen). The smock shows the rarely encountered Splittertarn camouflage (instead of the often seen Sumpftarn). Complete with original strings intact. Of the two vertical breast openings/pockets, one of them is nicely marked with a RBNr number and size mark ‘1’. The smock is showing minimal traces of usage and remains very condition. A repair is visible on the front, in the middle – looks to be done in the factory itself. The jacket still retains vivid and strong colors. The sniper facial veil is still present, and the first time for me I see a splittertarn smock with the veil still intact! A stunning Wehrmacht sniper smock in very good condition!
