Standard Luftwaffe cap eagle made in occupied Belgium

Description

Standard Luftwaffe cap eagle, to be worn on an overseas or M43 cap. Unworn example. White embroidered thread on soft blue felt wool. Most likely made by La Nominette (Aalst – Belgium) during the occupation (The company still exist today!). As many foreign made insignia the design and quality is somewhat different than German made insignia. I located a small hoard of these insignia all tucked together in a cigar box on a small Belgian military show. I have a few examples, selling them at 50 euro/piece.
