Waffen-SS steel belt buckle ‘Blue-Rodo’

Description

Very desirable Waffen-SS steel belt buckle executed in steel. Maker marked on the reverse by RODO (Robert Dold, Offenberg). Shows lots of wear, but still retains parts of the blue/grey coating up front. In 9/10 cases these RODO buckles come with green laquer, finding a ‘blue-Rodo’ as this one is extremely rare! Beautiful buckle, that still shows nice details. (The last picture shows the difference in color with a green- and blue-Rodo).
