Wehrmacht/SS P.38 ‘Walter’ soft shell pistol holster in brown leather

Description

P38 Pistol Holster (Pistolentaschen P38). When issued the P38 came with a specific holster to be worn on the left side of the load carrying waist belt. The brown leather construction second pattern soft-shell holster has two belt-loops on the back. The holster body also has a stitched on spare magazine pocket. The holster is nicely marked on the back with ‘P38’, the maker mark is faded. The leather is still supple. Worn piece, condition; see pictures.
