Wehrmacht ‘Tragschlaufe’ cartboard carrying box for K98 ammunition by krt 1944

Description

MINT and unissued cartboard box for 20 K98 ammunition Boxes (Tragschlauf für 20 Patronenschachteln). The carton sleeve would contain 20 standard carton ammunition boxes for 8×57 (7,92mm) ammunition as used for the K98 rifle. The carton sleeve is maker marked and dated ‘krt 44′ (Danziger Verpackungsindustrie AG’ from Danzig (Gdansk)) in 1944. Original late-war sleeve in mint and unissued condition! I have found a NOS (new old stock) of these recently in Germany and have a few similar examples for sale.
