WHW ‘Mit Brüdern in Not teile dein Brot’ wall plate ‘Wandteller’

Original WHW (Winterhilfswerke) ‘Mit Brüdern in Not teile dein Brot’ commemorative stoneware plate (Wandteller). This plate could only be acquired through a special donation of at least RM 25.00 and upwards. This green ceramic plate is a commemorative plate showing an eagle in it’s central design, surrounded by the script ‘WHW – Kreis Duisburg 1937-38’. The plate could be hung on the wall. Size approximately 27cms. The plate is in very good condition without damages. Only a small amount of these plates have been issued, even less survived the war. Rare and decorative original piece!
