WW1 German M16 steel helmet

Description

Stunning and very well preserved M16 steel helmet from the first world war. The helmet retains its genuine green color on the exterior and interior and just looks great. Complete with original installed liner and draw string. Interesting the liner is already a later M18-style liner, with chin strap D-rings installed. This helmet is what collectors would call a transitional example being an M16 shell with later M18 liner.  Some pads are partially torn or eaten by mice, but it’s all still present!. The shell has a faded marking which I believe is ’64’. If you want an untouched WW1 M16 helmet in super good condition, this is your chance!
